How is the new grading system different from the old grading system?
The new grading system is a 10-point grading system (A++, A+, A, B++, B+, B, C, D, E, U) whereas the previous system was based on a 7-point grading system (A-1, A, B, C, D, E, F).How can I apply for attestation of my documents from IBCC?
- By Visiting IBCC Office: Visit the IBCC office and obtain attestation application form or download from website (http://ibcc.edu.pk/). Fill in the attestation application form completely and accurately and make sure to include all the required information, such as personal details, details about educational qualifications, and the purpose of the attestation. Attach all required documents, such as original certificates, transcripts, and a copy of your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card). Pay the attestation fee through NBP in favor of the Inter Boards Coordination Commission. Submit the attestation application form along with the required documents to the IBCC office in Islamabad or any of its regional offices. Once attestation is processed, you may collect it from the IBCC office or to have it delivered to your address by courier (if return courier fee has been paid).

What documents are required for attestation from IBCC, if applying from outside Pakistan?
It's important to note that the attestation process can take some time, so it's recommended to apply well in advance. The documents generally required for attestation from IBCC (Inter Boards Coordination Commission) are as under:- Verification of documents from issuing authority in sealed envelope or directly sent to IBCC attestation portal by concerned BISE/BTE.
- Original SSC/HSSC/Diploma and its transcripts (mark sheets) that need to be attested. The certificates must be issued by recognized BISEs/BTEs of Pakistan.
- A copy of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
- A copy of passport

What is the validity period of an IBCC attestation? OR Does IBCC attestation expire?
The IBCC’s (Inter Boards Coordination Commission) attestation is valid through the Lifetime of document and unless/until it has been cancelled by issuing authority.Can I apply for IBCC attestation online without submitting certificates physically?

How long does it take to receive IBCC attested documents?
- Documents submitted at IBCC Office: If documents have been submitted before 1:00 PM then attested documents can be received on same day after 2:30 PM to 3:30PM. If documents are submitted after 01:00 PM then these will be can be receive on next day after 10:00 AM.
- Documents submitted Through Courier: The applications of attestation complete in all aspects received through courier are processed on the same date when received and handed over to the courier for delivery to the student on very next day.
- Documents submitted Online: If applied online within working hours then you may download attested copy by the end of closing hours.
Is IBCC attestation mandatory for studying abroad?
